I know everyone has heard of Space Bags.  How could you not have?  They’ve been around forever!  However, I was pretty excited when I recently heard about the Space Bag Ottoman.  I eagerly went to my computer to see if I could find some Space Bag Ottoman Reviews, but unfortunately there weren’t any!

I was so disappointed that I decided to do other internet searchers a favor and put together my own Space Bag Ottoman Reviews website.  If you are a Space Bag Ottoman user and you want to share your experience, we would absolutely love to post it here.

So, Should You Buy Space Bag Ottoman?

Only you can decide if it’s worth it for you to buy Space Bag Ottoman. Hopefully this site has helped you make up your mind!

Of course, I was already sold on Space Bags so there was no question in my mind.  However, after my personal experience with looking into the Space Bag Ottoman, I can very comfortably recommend it.

I found there were many possible uses for it.  Some of the things that came to my mind were:

• Using it to store guest room linens and towels in between use
• Summer storage for winter gear such as scarves, hats, mittens, or even coats
• Seasonal item storage such as Christmas blankets and throw pillows
• Beach towel storage for the long winter months (frees up linen closet space!)
• Use it to store your children’s extra stuffed animals and blankets

If I thought about even longer I’m sure I could come up with several more!  Keep in mind that the ottoman is not the size of a large trunk or anything.  That said, however, it DOES fit almost as much stuff as a large trunk after you compress everything.

Space Bag Review by a Knitter

I’m a knitter, and I have a HUGE amount of yarn and fiber. I used one of these bags and packed a 3′x3′ box of yarn skeins into it, vacuumed it flat, and hung it in my closet. My yarn “stash” is now easily browsable, and kept clean and dry (and moth-free!). I love it! I plan on getting several more.

During my time in the military I used these Space Bags for everything! They are very durable and you do not need to have a vacuum handy.

When I bought my first Space Bag I immediately went for the largest size to see how much would stuff fit in it. I managed to stuff a full size sleeping bag, 2 sleeping bag liners, parka top and bottom, and numerous clothing items in it. I knew I would not have access to a vacuum cleaner while deployed (who vacuums in the desert ha ha?) so I wanted to test out the method they give you to do it by hand.

You seal the opening (similar to a Ziploc bag), keep the vacuum hole open (where you would have sucked the air out with the vacuum), start at the bottom and simply roll it like you would a tube of toothpaste! Once it is rolled up I put the cap back onto the vacuum hole and everything stayed sealed. It was so air tight that I had to physically unroll to get it to a straight position! What was once the size of a giant bag was now no longer thicker than 3 to 4 inches (I think mine was a little thicker because of the amount of stuff I shoved in it).

Of course I bought more and was literally able to fit twice as much into my duffel bags than I normally would have. Although I did not buy extras to take with me on my deployment, these bags lasted me an entire year in Afghanistan and the trip back home!

While these Space Bags are durable and saved me tons of space, I ended up only using the XL and Large sized bags.  I ended up using the medium for common stuff around the house which included a mink blanket. But because the medium bag is so much smaller than the other two (in my opinion) it is harder to roll by hand to get it air tight, but then again I shoved a blanket into it.

All in all, this is one of the better investments that I have made. They are not expensive at all and have saved me so much space. It is easy for me to now store extra things under my bed and in storage containers that would have been previously ruined.
